The Annual East Village Holiday Promenade certainly lived up to the hype this past Friday. Described as “the holiday kick-off event with something for everyone”, it all began over at Brenton skating plaza with a tree lighting ceremony.
The Marketing Director for the East Village, Taylor Frame, spoke on the importance of the event for the village and how it was the beginning of the holiday season for the small businesses within the East Village.
The Promenade feature Santa, horse-drawn carriages, free food and drinks, carolers, and plenty of sales. Later on in the night, a few Promenade goers shared their experiences.
